Terms of Service
The agreement governing your use of the Irmu platform, APIs and dashboard.
Last updated 2026-08-27
The agreement
By creating an account or sending a request to our APIs you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts and keys
You are responsible for keeping API keys confidential and for all activity performed with them. Notify us immediately if a key is exposed; we will revoke it and issue a replacement.
One account per organisation. Sharing credentials with third parties outside your organisation is not permitted.
Acceptable use
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no unlawful collection, no circumvention of authentication, no harvesting of personal data without a lawful basis, and no use that overwhelms a target site.
Free plan
The free plan is offered entirely at our discretion and on an as-is basis, with no availability, performance or support commitment. We may modify, limit, suspend or withdraw it at any time, without notice and without liability.
Free credit volumes, rate limits, concurrency, retention and feature access may change at any time, including reductions applied immediately to existing free accounts. Nothing published about the free plan is a guarantee for any period.
Strictly one free account per person and per organisation. Creating or using more than one free account to obtain additional credits or to work around limits is prohibited. This includes alternate or aliased email addresses, disposable or newly registered domains, multiple company names or entities under common control, VPNs or proxies used to disguise origin, and coordinated sign-ups by colleagues serving the same workload.
We may use technical and account signals — including email address and domain, payment instrument, IP address, device and browser characteristics, API key usage and request patterns — to identify linked accounts. Where we find multi-accounting or other circumvention we may merge, throttle, suspend or terminate every linked account without notice or refund, void accrued credits, and permanently bar re-registration.
Free accounts may not be used to resell or sublicense the service, to provide production workloads on behalf of third parties, to run automated stress or capacity testing, or to publish benchmarks without our prior written consent.
Free accounts that are idle may be deactivated and their keys revoked, and data associated with free usage may be deleted after deactivation. Upgrading to a paid plan is the only way to obtain committed volumes or support.
Credits, billing and refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over unless your plan states otherwise. Failed requests are not billed. Taxes are additional where applicable.
You may cancel at any time; service continues to the end of the paid period. Annual plans cancelled within 14 days of purchase are refunded in full. If payment fails we may suspend the account after a grace period and reasonable notice.
Changes to plans and pricing
We may change prices, credit volumes, concurrency limits, included features and plan structures. For paid plans, any change that is materially unfavourable to you takes effect at your next renewal and only after at least 30 days' notice by email or in-product notice. Continuing to use the service after the effective date is acceptance of the change.
If you do not accept a change you may cancel before it takes effect and will not be charged for any subsequent period. We do not provide partial refunds for the current period except where required by law. Annual plans keep their agreed price for the committed term, with the new price applying at renewal.
We may also introduce new paid features, overage charges or usage-based fees on notice. Changes that are favourable to you, or that are required by law, may take effect immediately. Where you have a signed enterprise agreement, its pricing and notice terms prevail over this section.
Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but do not publish an uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. Any contractual uptime commitment applies only where it is stated in a signed agreement. The service is otherwise provided as-is.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. No liability arises in respect of the free plan beyond what the law requires.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for non-payment, or where usage threatens the stability or lawful operation of the platform. Free accounts may be terminated at any time for any reason.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
