Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with Irmu's infrastructure.

Last updated 2026-08-27

Permitted use

Collecting publicly accessible information for price monitoring, market research, SEO, lead generation, brand protection, academic research, AI training on lawfully accessible content, and testing your own properties.

Prohibited use

Accessing content behind authentication you are not authorised to use, defeating paywalls, or bypassing access controls on systems you do not own.

Collecting personal data without a lawful basis, scraping content protected by copyright for redistribution, or targeting sites that have contractually prohibited your access.

Sending volumes designed to degrade a target's service, distributing malware, or conducting credential stuffing, fraud or any criminal activity.

Circumventing plan limits, including creating or using multiple free accounts, sharing keys across organisations, or otherwise obtaining free credits beyond the one account permitted per person and per organisation.

Rate and courtesy

Keep concurrency proportionate to the target's capacity. Our platform enforces per-domain ceilings and will throttle traffic patterns that resemble a denial-of-service attempt.

Copyright and takedown notices

Irmu is neutral infrastructure: you choose which URLs are requested and what you do with the response, and you are responsible for holding the rights or a lawful exception for that use. Extracting facts such as prices and availability is generally lawful; reproducing substantial portions of protected expression for republication is not, absent a licence or exception.

Rights holders can send a takedown notice to info@irmu.com identifying the work and the allegedly infringing activity, with contact details, a good-faith statement and a signature. Notices can also be sent by post to Irmu LLC, 5437 Cove Cir, Naples, FL 34119, United States. Where a notice is credible and the activity is within our control we will act on it and notify the affected account holder; repeat infringers are terminated.

Enforcement

We investigate abuse reports promptly. Depending on severity we may throttle, suspend or terminate an account, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

Questions about this document can be sent to info@irmu.com or by post to Irmu LLC, 5437 Cove Cir, Naples, FL 34119, United States.
