Data we collect

Account data: name, work email, company name and billing details supplied when you register or upgrade a plan.

Usage data: API request metadata such as timestamps, endpoints called, credit consumption, response status and originating IP. We retain request bodies only where you explicitly enable request logging for debugging.

Website data: pages viewed, referrer and coarse location derived from IP, collected through privacy-respecting analytics without cross-site tracking.

Why we process it

To provide the service, meter credits accurately, prevent abuse of the platform, comply with financial record-keeping obligations, and send operational notices about incidents, deprecations and billing.

Marketing email is sent only with consent and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.

Content you retrieve

Pages fetched through the API are proxied and returned to you. We do not build a content index from customer traffic, do not resell retrieved content, and do not use it to train models.

Transient copies exist only for the lifetime of the request unless you turn on caching, in which case cached bodies expire according to the TTL you set.

Retention and sharing

Usage metadata is retained for 13 months for capacity planning and dispute resolution. Invoices are retained for seven years as required by law.

We share data only with subprocessors necessary to run the service — cloud hosting, payment processing and email delivery — each bound by a data processing agreement. We never sell personal data.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data at any time, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We respond within 30 days.
